The author provides convincing evidence to start "deep work".

Showing to be busy does not make you a productive person. Instead of doing a lot of nonsense and shallow things in a day, try to do something of significance, even if you see the fruits of your work very late.
The challenge we face while doing deep work is that we do not see the great results of it immediately. If we accept this fact, we may embrace the toughness of deep work more easily.

Like many other books on Goodreads, readers have rated it from the lowest possible star to the highest. I am not sure if I am going to love this book, and if this book is going to make an impact in my life, but reading the first paragraphs of the introduction convinced me to read more. As the book seems to be long for the purpose it has, I will discontinue reading if I find it boring immediately.
