This is a really big story. I’m impressed with how well Stohl handled all of the moving parts. Carol, the established Alpha Flight team, the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Alpha Cadets (introduced here) all blend well together and all have distinct voices.

2 things:
1) This is a very, very thin book for some reason?
2) I know Stohl has written YA novels but I'm not sure if that's where she got her start? I'm only mentioning it because this volume is introducing young Alpha Flight cadets and I wonder if that was meant to attract youths?
(yes, i am old)
