Yes, I am reading this after watching the Netflix show. A low fever (no covid) and being in a pandemic and having a head that cannot handle complex books right now makes this a good choice. There is some eye rolling from my side. & I also wish there was less fat-shaming and the cast was more diverse (the show probably consciously chose to change this somewhat).
