Finished The Hunchback's Tale. Mildly disappointed with the lack of magic... Not a single genie was mentioned! However, the conclusion was much better than the other endings to stories.

"The History of the Second Calender, the Son of a King" contained one of the most vivid and suspenseful battle scenes I've ever read. I have no regrets in picking up this book. This is completely original material that I'm surprised hasn't been repeatedly reproduced, since I'm hearing most of these stories for the first time.
