Her essay on music started off killer, showing how music, art, science, and philosophy have been born out of a necessity to order chaos, restructure chaos, partition chaos, and frame chaos. It sort of detioriated about 30 pages into it, a lot of filler about the ancient origins of music as an extension of language and sexuality, attempting to reconcile the two anthropological hypotheses on the origin of music.
