I bought this book, randomly, on sale. It's a bummer that the other two books in the series are priced very high on amazon. I can't afford them. I would've loved to read on. Sadly, that won't happen. 😢

"The city is unusually serene. Mine are the only footsteps in the freshly fallen snow."

No one of this age group would behave in this fashion. The whole story, though fun, is not believable. I might believe it of a group of 19-21 year olds, but these kids are too young for how they are being portrayed.

Some small mistakes, throughout. Lack of continuity, and stupid editing mistakes.
One example: "She bears her perfectly even teeth at me wolfishly." BARES, not bears! 🤦

Also, "snarky friendships" with gay guys is very late 1990's. Kind of dated.

Is Jay a spy for the authorities...?

PJ's background has some kind of mystery in it...?

Bought this at a clearance sale. Hope it will be good.
