Not only Dean Wardell has a different name from the prequel. He also has a completely different personality, besides being a complete turd. Isn’t the point in evicting Devon that he’s not allowed on the property? Then why would Julian be able to host him?!

Rae used Nic’s tatù at the Masquerade Ball, to figure out how to break the handcuffs. She never saw Kraigan after that. Why would she need to restock it now??

Aaaand... 3% ago Carter was a James. Now he’s a Jonathon (incidentally, Cromfield’s name so far). Not surprisingly, he’s Andrew in the prequel series. If Beth and him end up getting together he’ll probably be a Logan in the wedding vows.

And Carter joins Wardell Sr. in characters who inexplicably changed their first names in the 10 years between the prequel and core series.

She remembers losing Charles’ tatù but not Riley’s... which she apparently had on call last night without ever crossing path with the guy after her last meeting with Kraigan. This series is cute by damn does it need a good editor.

And now she’s forgotten Kraigan has his mother’s camouflage, too, despite having seen him use it only a few weeks before?!

Why do some books in the series have chapters titles and other don’t? Also, how could the PC be so stupid as to not take Rae’s suns into consideration, when studying her tatù?? #teamXK

Third book was overall rather lame. Plot got almost nowhere until the last ten pages or so.

How is Rae now surprised that her grandparents were both inked?! She read that in the journal herself mere chapters ago -.-“

Again, is everyone simply lying to Rae or did the prequel take place in a AU?
Simon didn’t START the XK: he simply came up with a fancy name for them. And Jennifer... jury’s still out on that one.
