Chris Going for a little drama, are we?

Cookie M. My, yes, Chris. Maxwell's stuff is hard to take, full of racism, elitism, all kinds of cringeworthy horrors, but he is the best example of his type of southern depression era literature. I am trying to see if there is any redeeming value to it. The jury is still out.

Cookie M. I could swear I typed Caldwell, not Maxwell.
