What the? Where did this come from?

It was inspired by resistance to the fraudulent elections in Belarus, but also, the trend toward greater democracy has reversed worldwide. And breaking with U.S. tradition, President Trump praises autocrats as "strong leaders" and scorns democratic leaders as weak. (example: "President Erdogan. He's tough, but I get along with him. And maybe that's a bad thing, but I think it's a really good thing.")
