This sounds interesting as hell

It's extremely interesting so far. I've been simultaneously reading some other Victorian-era histories, and it's wild how little attention is paid to this stuff.

Also, a lot of uncomfortable foreshadowing of future climate chaos under the present free-market hegemony.
