this book is SO long and i'm listening on audiobook at 1.5x, and it still feels like it's moving at a glacial pace. very dense writing style. i'm carrying on with it to see if it pays off.

I guessed the twist (that only started in chapter 39???!!) and when it unfolds it’s quite underwhelming. Also, I hate the main character.
