While I enjoy cozy mysteries, I wish authors would acknowledge the need of some physical evidence in their investigations. You can’t solve a murder solely on gossip and hunches!

The second book ends with a big impromptu party at the restaurant. The characters spend more time at Teeny’s restaurant than the apple orchard.

What’s frustrating with some of these cozy mysteries is that the sleuths solve crimes by committing other crimes. So far, Chelsea has stolen two passports, comtaminated at least two crime scenes, and attempted to hack into a victim’s personal computer.

Finished the first book. It was too obvious who the murderer was, and too coincidental they caught the murderer trying to frame someone else.

And of course there’s a police woman who looks like a supermodel. Hey, Chels - maybe your fiance left because who are superficial and only notice people’s outward appearance. So few characters are physically described, buy Vinny’s got slick-backed hair and how many times are we going to mention Sudeer is an Indian?

I’m a little concerned that Miss May automatically assumes that police would consider Maggie a suspect. We don’t even know the cause of death, so why is it considered a homicide investigation?

I realize cozy mysteries require suspensions of disbelief, but ya gotta give me something to work with. Mike leaves her at the altar and no one goes after him? Where’s his best man? Does he not have any family there? The only person who tries to call is the bride’s aunt?
And then she discovers her cousin’s fiance’s dead body at the rehearsel dinner, and all she can think about is how hot the detective is?
