Jarred by the Climax of this novel, I am glad I decided to continue. Crime procedures are kind of comforting in how you see justice, retribution, and some sort of public perception come about to spirit away monsters to prison.

I have read a lot of disturbing books but the way the police officer interviewed Brandon after what happened... I don't think I can go on. You lose faith in humanity. I want to throw up, to cry. Completely destroyed. My heart goes out to anyone who has been through this.
