Some paragraphs are exhaustively difficult, but the dreamy images lodge themselves in the mind—creating a chaotic world that defies time, space, and logic. Almost 500 pages in, and it's clearly too long, but I wonder if I'll miss Kaufman's ridiculous universe when I—eventually—reach the final page...

I'm trying... I'm honestly trying. I'm very over this book; I've started one book and finished another in the meantime. Unlike Kaufman's movies, even the most puzzling ones, his book has very little to connect to. I feel nothing for B. I don't care what happens to him. But I'm determined to finish this fucker.
