I kind of dragged my heels on starting this, the original series felt wrapped up and there was a promise of a HEA , so I was good -and this doesn't look to be a victory lap. All that aside, it is a bit of a challenge to come back up to speed on the world, especially since the world has shifted with the upheavals from the last book.

As I am getting warmed up and the events and people are coming back to me, I am remembering what I liked about this series -Rachel and Jenks and Edden so far - and what I didn't - I disliked the Hollow's vampire mythos.

I was gifted a copy it's on my bed stand untouched. I feel the same it was done. I will read it someday I think

I was doing a reread just like I always do, and noticed that there was another book! You can't even imagine.my.joy!!! And yes I felt like it was finished, bit yet also felt like there was so much more. So I wasn't disappointed with this one. I loved it!
