Read only if one wants to clear 12th boards with flying colors

Of all the analogies i won't compare this book with the manipulative well curated history texts fed to us in schools. For this book is a well researched account of the barbaric nature of the British rule in India and gives a deep and profound understanding of the colonial era. Though i agree that this book gives a feeling of learning and reading for pleasure is out of the question here. But those with a keen interest in history will have a good time reading this.
