My thoughts:
I love the book so far, and the writing is great.
1. I don’t want there to be romance between the joker and her, because they have only known each other for a few days and it already romantic. Blerg.
2. I get she’s in a hard place with the king, but because he’s so stupid she needs to be bolder with her ‘no’s.

Adding on to this: she can’t just drop subtle hints, she needs to just say ‘no’. I mean, she’s really leading him on, and that bugs me. And, I get it’s also hard with her parents. But, they are not controlling her when they’re not around. And she’s had several times where she could have just said ‘no’. Then I the king still acts this way, that’s a bigger deal. Otay, there’s my rant. :)
