I'm trying here. I gave Gideon the Ninth 5 stars, 27 planets, and several dozen moons, but this one is a bit of a struggle. It's unfortunate because it was my most anticipated book this year. I'm tempted to DNF, but I've heard it all pays off in the end, and I liked Gideon the Ninth an infinite amount, so I will finish this. Eventually.
