In getting a lot of Junior Hero Blues vibes except in that book they had no idea that they were enemies. In this, they know, but they don't give a damn. Tad is literally gonna teach Jamie self-defense.

I love how casual he is about getting kidnapped all the time. Like he's bonding and creating friendships with the people who took him. Like wtf

Jamie is literally captured by a supervillain but all he cares about is the cute boy in the corner. My man got his priorities straight.

This book is not at all intense and honestly.... I love that. No superhero action for me today. All I wanna read about is how this dude gives no shits about his job working for a superhero. Also terrorantula is insecure and that's awesome.
