Ugh, I hated this book! Not for the hero's choice of wardrobe, even though that didn't help, LOL.
Yeah I saw that Dina! I think I got this rec from Dear Author, what made you hate it? I haven't read much yet.
I don't remember! I read it a long time ago, way before GR came to help me, and all I have noted down in the spreadsheet I used to keep track of my reading is my rating.
Did your note include "holy crap - hero wore black and gold matador jacket"? Haha.
LOL! Nope, Melissa. Your status update rang a bell, but if you mentioned it without connecting it with this book, I'd be scratching my head trying to remember where I had seen it. It would be a fun quote to use in K.'s GOSM. :)
Oh, I loved this one! The hero sounded charmingly eccentric to me.I've loved every Susan Napier I've read. She writes good heroes.
Well I just started it and think it's interesting so far. The hero does sound eccentric (but not in a bad way) except for the unfortunate velvet matador jacket.
I am not as enamoured of Napier as most of the romancelandia but I did like this one too. Mostly because it reminded me of the Emma Darcy boss-secretary romances she did in the 90s.
Having just seen "Toy Story 3," it sounds like he was channeling Ken.I wonder if I have this one. I like eccentric.
