reading this is painful. it's poorly written and the author managed to muck up a fun premise. I don't normally finish books I don't like but I feel like I've invested too much of my life into this to not finish.

Ugh I hate that! So many people questioned why I finished Rodham but it was the same deal. I had made it too far and was kind of morbidly curious. 😂 But I often pull the “Well maybe it’s too soon to quit now” which leads to “Sunk cost, might as well finish”.
