This is really shoddily written. Awkward stiff dialogue, cardboard cutout characters and weird continuity errors, like someone climbing into a saddle before the horse is mentioned, and a 6 year old being 19 after a time skip of 19 years. It’s the first book I’ve picked up this year that I really don’t want to finish.
