So I'm almost halfway done with this book, and still, Noah's insecurities and his pretentiousness just about kill this for me. Just listen to his monologues - almost every time is he thinking about how rich and important he is. He's overcompensating his insecurities with his social status at every turn. I cannot believe Miranda - as down to earth as she is, would be attracted to such a person.
