Terra Incognita reads very much like a fever-dream that so happens to slot in place with the scenery depicted; the telling goes: there's an escape, it's an every-man-for-themselves, fight the demons in the jungle scenario. It's a bit trippy to read having familiarised myself with Nabokov's style. It seems a bit experimental and wiki says it "imitates H. G. Wells' story The Remarkable Case of Davidson's Eyes".
