Bands of Mourning takes up six months or so after shadows of self. This one is one part detective novel, one part dungeon crawling and it's absolutely fantastic in every way. We get to see Wax and Wayne raise mayhem. We get to meet with the Kandra MeLaan again, Steris and Marasi are as entertaining as ever.

Low violence, high adventure, and the book cements Sanderson as the word wizard that he is. It's a joy!

No excessive violence no swearing and no sex. But Sanderson's books are like crack.
