Putting down this library copy so I can buy one of my own to highlight. Many of the entries could work as stand alone personal essays. The entries are poetic and the wordplay is art: "A little thing, like children putting flowers in my hair, can fill up the widening cracks in my self-assurance like soothing lanolin."
