Results of Reader Survey "We asked if seeing the words “New York Times Bestselling Author” on the cover of a book is more likely to spur a reader to try a new author. Seventy-two percent said no, and 28 percent said yes."

Experiment BL626 Heh. Me too. NYT books are rarely ever my kind of book.

Thalia Same. When I do chance to read one, I usually end up disliking it.

Kenya Wright I do peruse the list at least twice a month and possibly read something from there.

Mandapanda Lots of stuff we already know in that survey but I'm surprised so many people trust retail (Amazon) reviews!


Experiment BL626 Many people have yet to learn about GR. Amazon is a household name. GR isn't.
