With the state of the country and my state literally being on fire, I don't have the emotional bandwidth for anything more intense than this right now. 37 pages in, however, and I am already annoyed by the conceit that the narrator and her boyfriend have supposedly gender "appropriate" tastes in pizza and alcohol. Men drink wine! Women drink beer! Don't be so hallmark stupid.
