This is sooo fucked up and dark. And I am going to be furious and throw an in real time 'live' fit if one certain thing goes bad!

It's probably too dark for you, My Darling Issy. But damn, I've milked this for all I"m worth. Day off for severe asthma attacks due to walking outside with all the smoke in the air and a migraine. Taking a break before the last chapter because as fucked up as it all is, I would like one thing to occur and I kind of want more too...

Seriously, I must be a totally skewed person.

I'm thinking you need to leave LA for greener pastures because your environment sounds shit ATM. You my darling a made of tough fibres. Because through it all you carry on. Me I'd be crying in a corner cos I'm a pussy....ok cat!!!

Ha! Not allowed in other countries and at least LA is under control so the MAGA's can't come in to town in droves. Nope, LAPD not about to let that happen. Neither is our mayor or governor. Besides, we've got Covid - surges should hit on the 23rd, 24th, and 3 million acres gone in Cali. Oh, and even though we're not fire central - they're 'monitoring' ones in the foothills around LA as they don't have enough manpower to put people on them. Only place I may end up heading is catching a ride out from Mailbu on someone's yacht!!!!!!

Isabella. R I get it. It sound like we are both living in gilded cages. We can't leave town either and our lockdown has been extended for another 2 weeks. It's scary because you get brainwashed in believing this is the new norm!! I'd be considering that yacht!!!

Issy, they just had one of the leading drug manufacturers on CNN last night. He claims to look at Covid as more long term. Their estimates are to produce enough vaccine, syringes, vials, etc. for the whole world will take until 2024 to protect us all. I don't know about Australia but when there is a safe vaccine which will not release until 2021 sometime, it will not go to regular citizens first. First line responders and other people. Just talked about this with someone I know about how we have to find a way to really live life in 'the new norm' because it's too much time to lose.

Isabella. R I agree that There is no quick solution to Covid. We definitely don't have the population the US has and here they are still optimistic about having a vaccine next year. Apart from prioritising who gets vaccinated first there is also the dilemma of anti vaxxas who don't want it. Australia is trying to get it to a manageable rate. But they've closed all the borders. I imagine it will be a couple of years that we will be able to travel freely within our own countries!!
