Why does he have such poor social skills if he's actually capable of reading people that fast and accurately? Doesn't seem resonable.

Still feels very clunky, lots of exposition disguised as internal monologue. Characters super flat, we're just told how their character is supposed to be, we're barely shown anything.
And now there's this troubled kid, and she does from barely even looking at her dad to talking to him pretty reasonably in a goddamn time jump.
