One of two books I'm starting on as I learn guitar. This one's a bit thicker. But it has no cd or dvd and is less information dense. Large print and pictures. Lots of talk of artists unrelated to my learning the basics.

It also focuses first on chords and even barre chords well before discussing melody or picking. Makes progress for a clutz like me difficult. Does include a chart of chords though. That's not.
