I gotta say the whole government let them live in peace thing is unrealistic. Maybe Laurann is gonna go something with that, it’s too early to tell.
Maybe I wouldn’t have minded that detail of o haven’t watched the shape of water yesterday and had had a stranger things marathon the days before that. From my -fictional- experience the government usually doesn’t let things like this go.

I like it though. Not really a complaint, I like seeing my characters suffer and suffer along with them.

Also, it’s always invigorating seeing the h play the white knight, and to such a burly big male at that.

I appreciate the fact that the author didn't shying away from such matters, though. The description was painful to read but appreciated. It’s refreshing (not in any way less painful- just refreshing) seeing it happen to the H not the h for once.
