I am taking too long to read this book, which in itself is an example of white apathy, I stopped because we went away for a few days and only today getting back to it. My white privilege is strong as I am not making the time. Shame on me!

This book really makes you think and reexamines your thoughts and opinions on your own world. Parts are hard parts are irrelevant which is even harder when you think about it. Cottage country has next to no black people so I really have no experiences with black peoples since moving here. That’s a sad statement about generational wealth. We do have Indigenous and POC. A must read
