Apophaticism. The book is really interesting. He argues that “mysticism” is actually the exact opposite of “mystical theology,” that when mystics ceased to be theologians in the later Middle Ages, apophatic metaphors lost their meaning in lieu of their antonyms. Definitely reshapes the modern view of mysticism.
