So I am not sure why this book is number 2 it appears to take place before Graceling? I am not sure I am connecting the two books. I hate when the protagonist changes in a series from book too book.

It took me about half the book to get into this one and make it more then just background sound while I work. However, I am also confused on why they talk about Fire’s monthly bleeding about every 4 pages. I get it I have one I don’t need constant reminders of hers. Maybe it’s some really glaring foreshadowing but I haven’t gotten that far if it is. I do love little Hannah.
