I am bored. Problem one: Four convicts, rough lives, brutal world, and they’re all just so cautious and apologetic and kind. Problem two: The pace is excruciatingly slow, since every scene is, at its core, a four-times heard echo of itself as the heroine tries to get comfortable with each man and to make the men support one another.
