Phew. This one is a gut punch, and a much needed one at that. This book is so full of takeaways that it’s nearly impossible to pick just one. But, if I had to choose, it’d be that the oppressed should not be expected to bear the burden of explaining to the oppressor the nature of oppression. White people, do your own work.
