frustrating. you really should voice your opinion out... in front of your parents, especially. so that they know what you feel and what they do that makes you hurt. it's going to be better that way, most of the times.

shocking. is a manual checkout in library that old in other countries? cause i still do that until 2000s and it's mentioned in this book that "the dates were all from the 1980s". 😳🤣

I wonder if her reluctance to speak her mind out has something to be explained in the book. 🤔 I understand she doesn't like to voice out her opinion to the teachers or friends, but usually one would be willing to talk to her parents.
