Well the first half of this book has been very much a 2 star bland formulaic affair and I only came back to it on the strength of the first in the series. Having got half way through there is a marked improvement.

I'm back having read a book or two which demonstrates that while I don't hate this book it has hardly captivated me.

Don't hate it don't love it.

Only on page 17 but I have already found things to turn me right off our female lead, not sure if I can get past that, she seems too girly for me, I like women to be a bit more feisty and gutsy.

Books 1-3 great, book #4 so awful I couldn't finish it, book #5 here goes.
