I had no interest in reading this until I saw it on the new books shelf at my library and thought, eh why not? So far, not too bad. Hoping things pick up a little though, feeling like this book, being nearly 900 pages and apparently lacking in the type of plot complexities that keep my mind engaged, needs some action to keep things enjoyable.
