A very interesting book. In the future a person can have virtual duplicate of himself, after much research, called a red man (not capitalized). It seems the red men consider themselves another race, separate from humans. The book reminds me of David Brin's excellent 2005 Kiln People.

In the last 200 pages it just got too weird for me. It was hard for me to tell what sections were reality and what were virtual reality. There was this grotesque 'god,' Leto that people followed that made no sense for anyone to follow other than severe drug addicts. I suggest reading David Brin's 'Kiln People' for a better view of moving 'souls' between bodies.

Interesting stuff so far. Giant seven foot robots that deal with citizen barricade situations. The protagonist works for the corporation that builds them. I love the cover art, the feel of the cover and the interior font.
