This is very well written and an excellent chronical of how the author found her inner truth. Had she been in an AA or 12 step community outside of the Bible Belt or just in more of one that practiced support and not fear, she would have been able to experience the same growth within AA instead of finding it without. Either way she's done some fantastic inner work worth sharing.
