I really enjoyed this! It was my first book by this author and I am now a fan. This was somewhat predictable but the character that stood out the most was Toni. She was sassy, crass, funny, feisty, and independent. Her love story with Oren was my favorite. He was her complete opposite. She called him a pretty rich boy LOL. Their romance was subtle but the buildup was amazing & more fleshed out compared to Alex’s.

I think my favorite POV is Toni and her maybe relationship with Oren. She’s so crass and funny lol. She thinks she’s fallen into a regency romance novel because of Alex’s marriage of convenience with Oren. I’m not sure if there’s going to be an actual relationship between them yet but I’m starting to think that he might be interested her. We’ll see! I’m going to read a bit more.
