Interesting insight into the author of “Confederacy of Dunces”. His book was not initially well received, yet posthumously was awarded a Pulitzer Prize. A shame he was so troubled and did not see it published. I read “Dunces” when I first moved to New Orleans and while it made me laugh a lot, I didn’t quite get some of the local references. I do now. The book is quirky like New Orleans so I liked it.
