I'm starting to notice that the main character in the book has no clue what hes doing because he is new and fresh out of training.

I picked this as my choice book because the title and the cover looked cool when I saw it, It doesn't seem to be as cool as I thought it would be based off the picture. For reading for the rest of the year I want to finish this book I have about 40 more pages left so I should be able to finish it in the next 2 reading times.

Last thing I remember was it being pretty repetitive and now it finally seems to be a little bit different, They went on a mission to go find a few supplies they needed and they are the ones in control for once. They took a prisoner and gave him truth serum and he said, "You can't do that, its against the laws of war" (Turner 299) and it's funny because that dude just broke a law by killing civilian.

I stopped reading today on what I think is going to be a big point in the book, The main character got called in to higher up people and is now discussing what is going on, I think he is going to end up getting into a bad situation and then end up surviving and being the hero.

The author is making the main character seem like he's a awesome dude, earlier in the book he was nervous and such but now he is more of a leader.

I keep noticing in the book that the author is very repetitive and alot of the plot is the same thing over and over with very small changes.

One thing I don't understand about this book is how the humans can't locate each other, one group got lost and they don't have any contact with the other groups of humans. I would think in a futuristic world they would have more advanced gps and messaging systems to find eachother.

In the book currently it was pretty slow for the past 40 or so pages they have been doing the same thing over and over with no twists or surprises. Its feels like I'm reading the same page 20 times and then going to the next page.

The author of the book seems to like crazy, unrealistic, creatures, currently they just came in an encounter with a bear with 4 massive arms that could punch and attack, and also the aliens that are futuristic and can kill the humans easily.
