This may be another story that I end up categorizing as a "BIEP"--Brilliant Idea Executed Poorly (I came up with the anagram after watching 'Daybreakers' last weekend and nearly tearing out my hair over the waisted potential.) So far none of the protagonists are likeable. The POV changes, but the voice is the same: aloof and irritated. I'll give this another 20-30 pgs before shelving it as "Couldn't Finish."
