Started this last night (still savoring the new books I recently got), and I'm definitely intrigued by the story. It has the feel of an old tale to it, so it's been pretty quick reading, and it deals with British lore, so you know I'm totally into it.

I don't think I'd like to live at the turn of the 7th century, though . . . a bit too brutal and patriarchal at times, if you ask me! No idea how this one will end!
