Look ...I'm not gonna lie.
This is a great read. Fast, tight, terrific plotting.

But I'm a political junkie - left-wingish.

I can't help but being hypnotized like a chicken by the shenanigans of the current occupant of the White House.
Regardless- Republican or Democrat or Third Rail- these are harrowing times.

I can't keep reading this novel without constant interruptions per current events.

Pity me.

This is brilliant, economical writing -right out of that terse Dashiell Hammett style of writing.
I absolutely love this.

This already holds my attention like a Dan Marlowe or Richard Stark entry.
