A good history of our national parks interspersed with the author's own experiences over the years utilizing them. Mark does a good job of explaining the issues of the anti-BLM (Bureau of Land Management - since in current times that acronym could be easily confused) and the public land takeover movement and makes a case for the multiple-use public land model.
