I feel like so many of her books are like this. SS was kinda dull in the beginning and Uprooted felt a little like work

I don't remember having a big issue with uprooted but I never read spinning silver. I have been thinking I've been judging her writing off of uprooted which just isn't accurate
SS wasn't bad when it got going, but the beginning was mad boring
